just has a nickelodeon photoblaster camera. it's amazing, it takes 4 separate images in the same frame. it's slightly damaged but the photos still turn out amazing. i want one of my own very badly.
this was justin, maggie, steph, and i walking to the house after justin got his chest waxed. you can't tell from these photos, but he looked like he had third degree burns it was so red and swollen. i love how it looks like justin's head is coming out of my body.

this is the sewing machine i will be purchasing!
hooray, i finally get to stack the pile of alterations i've been waiting to make. and i'm going to make curtains/drapes for the living room of my house. i have to do something, it looks like a boys clubhouse or basement. it might be a combination of the plywood floors and the instruments flung EVERYWHERE. the place is dying for a woman's touch.
also, i went to a bingo night on sunday and it was surprisingly very fun. i think the tables are turning for me... with bingo the other night, the fates on my side. maybe the wheels of fortuna are veering in mmy direction.

i'm leaving greenpoint.
a change will do me good.
my living situation now is fine, but i'd rather some live somewhere where drama does not pass through so easily.
i'm going back to the Meneguar house in bushwick. i'm gonna make this a great spring/summer. i'll get a bike and start shooting again. Hopefully the boys will inspire me to be more productive. because right now i have no outlet; i'm bored and frustrated.

cut my hair for fall. it's short like a silent movie star. it's never been this short before. i'm trying something new. this is supposed to symbolize my fresh start. i really am a whole new lauren. it's great. i'm totally on my own now. working and paying rent and opening a bank account. it's great. i feel like things are finally starting to come together. i'm even shooting again. i'm going to finally finish that portrait series i've been sitting on forever.
anyone interested in having their portrait taken? i'm gathering portraits of 10-12 people and i'm going to have everyone fill out a little questionaire. with a couple of questions about their state in life. i'm looking for peopel that feel a sort of 'hopelessness' whether it's in their relationships, job, mental state, etc etc...
